Blue Marble Radio Presents...
"One world, One language, Music".
The main host of Blue Marble Radio, Andy Clayton, has produced an
exclusive podcast for 2GuysTalking, called Blue Marble Radio
Presents…, which features conversation and music from some of the
finest artists to appear on the Blue Marble Radio podcasts. Find out
more about these overly-talented, under-rated musicians now and
finally understand our notion: there is more to music than what the radio
and recording industry shoves in our ears. There are millions of
bands in the world, and most don't get to be heard. That's why we
exist, to bring you "the greatest music you've never heard before".
Tell us what YOU think!
Prior to a sporadic career in radio in the early 80’s
starting at the age of 15, Andy was dragged into the studios
of KYMC in Chesterfield, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis) by
a school friend who was determined to make the most of
Andy's Australian accent during the height of the Aussie
Invasion of the early '80's. Although very shy and quiet by
nature, Andy quickly discovered a love of the microphone as
well as the alternative music offered by KYMC. And so, a new
Mr. Hyde was born.
Andy’s main claim to fame was hosting a nationally
syndicated radio show in the US in the early 90’s, called
Modern Roots (on the Post Modern Radio Network - now
defunct, sadly.) He got to meet all kinds of cool people who
don’t send cards on his birthday (he's a dead-centre
Scorpio, by the way).
Today, Andy is the creator of Blue Marble Radio - which he
thinks about non-stop while working as a mild-mannered
government employee during the day. He also seems to
constantly write about himself in the 3rd person.
Habitat: Nomadic by nature; currently located near Brisbane,
Status: not endangered, as far as he knows.
Andy fills his large townhouse with musical
instruments he can’t play very well – but loves looking at
and stroking fondly. Usually to be found in front of his
computers searching out the best unsigned musicians, and
secretly wishing he could be one of them. Nocturnal by
nature. Fortunately lives alone, so no co-inhabitants are
harmed when he sings loudly and badly late at night.
Likes: Golf, great music, weird foods, good wine.
Dislikes: People who don’t like golf, great music, weird
foods or good wine.

David and Adriana Roze are the husband-and-wife team
that make up The Endless, a dream-pop duo hailing from
Los Angeles. David's lush orchestration set a perfect
environment for Adriana's vocal artistry, often
reminiscent of Enya and Kate Bush. With four albums
under their belt and a fifth in progress, The Endless
are a group that you will love if you're attracted to
thoughtful lyrics, haunting vocals and melody.

artist joining us on this new podcast is The Piano Man
from Seattle, Aaron English. Aaron's style is a fusion
of world beat, jazz-influenced, melodic pop without all
the pretense that normally goes along with that label.
Honest music; brave, lush and complex, and all the while
anchored with sensible and clever lyrics. Aaron English
is a rare craftsman, uncompromising with his music, and
yet is warm and approachable. Since his debut album in
2002, the following ten years have seen Aaron and his
band have a variety of successes including a unique
recreation of "Norwegian Wood" that has made its mark on
charts around the world.

Cat Jahnke (pronounced YONG-key) is a singer and
songwriter of great depth and talent, unafraid to show

the songs themselves weren't good enough, add to it
