Singer/Songwriter
Chuck Lauer was born in St. Louis, Mo in 1955. Chuck is
married to his lovely wife Ruth and has two children, Andy and
Patty. After working as a studio musician at Chance Recording
Studio in the late 70's, he embarked on a solo career as a
local musician and became a founding member of the Missouri
Songwriters Association.
In 1980 Chuck
joined the Scott-Thomas Band with the late Timothy Scott Kasal
and the early George Thomas Cline III. Later on that year Gary
Kolander of KSHE radio played Chuck's song California Girl on
the KSHE Seeds program.
During the 90's
Chuck joined the band 40 South then left in 2005 to fill in as
the Friday Night Guy at Lagniappe's in Soulard for his ailing
old friend, Tim Scott, until mid 2007.
Currently, Chuck
is working on his album "T-Bone" to be released later this
year

borrowed some of the lines from the "article" for lyrics.
